DJ Mark Marcelo has rocked crowds from Hollywood to the Bay, from Las Vegas to Sweden. Having headlined events and festivals of all styles and music tastes, DJ Mark Marcelo brings back the energy of the world’s most celebrated party scenes back to the Confidential dance floor every Saturday at Classified™.
His first mix CD, The Ignant Mix, was named one of the best albums of 2005 by Jeff Chang, author of Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, and was considered the “best hyphy mix” by Turntable Lab. His most recent projects, Scrunchies & Headbands and The After-Party have also received critical acclaim from music enthusiasts and 90’s music aficionados.
DJ Mark Marcelo also DJs regularly at the San Diego House of Blues, Bar Delux (Hollywood), Short Stop (Echo Park), and alongside with San Diego’s ubiquitous homegrown DJ crew–MindzAlike.
